Garlic and paprika char grilled prawns







Finger food just turned fancy with our recipe for garlic and paprika char grilled prawns.

Ingredients


  • 12 uncooked medium king prawns (540g)
  • 1 medium red capsicum (200g), chopped coarsely
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika


Preparation method

Shell and devein prawns, leaving tails intact.
Combine prawns, capsicum, oil, garlic and paprika in medium bowl.
Cook capsicum on heated grill plate until browned both sides. Add prawns towards the end of capsicum cooking time; cook, turning, until prawns are changed in colour.
Serve with lemon wedges, if you like.
